Starting from October 12, no passport stamps will be placed when visiting the 29 Schengen countries.
Entry and exit will be recorded electronically (EES) using fingerprints and facial recognition.
This change will maintain travel safety and reduce border queues.
Note that Ireland and Cyprus will still retain traditional stamps.
Flights from Gyumri "Shirak" Airport to Cyprus
Gyumri "Shirak" International Airport will now operate flights to Larnaca, Cyprus. The flights will be carried out by the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air, starting from September 30 of this year, connecting Larnaca International Airport with Gyumri "Shirak" International Airport.
The Larnaca–Gyumri–Larnaca route will operate with the following frequency:
From September 30 to October 25 — twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday
From October 30 onwards — twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday
